The motel is far enough out of town that it’s nice and quiet with an awesome view, yet close enough to walk to everything. The owners are so lovely and there when you need them but not when you don’t. Rooms are clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need. I’ll be back one day!

Apart from the smoke from the fires it was in a great position a little bit out of town but on a clear day views would h ave been wonderful.We were stuck for accomodation as we couldn't leave the area because of fires and we were a bit distressed but the welcome we received from Janice and her hubby as well as the house keeping w was wonderful. We wish them well and would stay there again

Very clean, excellent views over Merimbula. Plenty of birdlife in the garden and around. Plus.. super friendly owners, who made our stay particularly wonderful. They are wildlife carers and truly excellent people, who told us about the care work they do.

The best value in Merimbula with that spectacular view and friendly service. Book direct for best price. Little thoughtful touches for the more budget traveller, such as fresh milk and water. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Standard motel facilities, but super clean. Plenty of towels, plus a microwave, cutlery, crockery. Bonus is having a table and chairs, and a sofa inside, plus a table and chairs outside. Awesome balcony with fabulous views. Friendly bird life and a resident sheep to keep you entertained. Fabulously surprising!

The view from the Kingfisher Motel is incredible! Large glass sliding door opens out onto a private deck to sit and relax and watch the ocean, boats and abundant bird life in the trees. The rooms are large and includes a kitchenette. Extremely clean and very comfortable. Retro style decor. Pool. Great hosts. We will definitely stay again.

Not my first stay here and won't be my last. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles but has everything yoy need. Owners are lively and locals with lots of knowledge about the area. The views are amazing. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cover all the basics. A great place to base yourself out of for sight seeing and exploring the area.

Charming motel located on Merimbula Drive, Merimbula. Set on the hillside, Just out of town. Situated to take advantage of the Town and Water views. Very friendly and really helpful hosts. Well appointed and spacious rooms. Has a good size balcony. With Spectacular views over Merimbula and surrounds. The abundant bird life you will see, particularly at dusk and dawn. Is truly amazing !! And to top it off Kingfisher Motel is amongst the best value Motels in and around Merimbula.
